Mark Ronson & The Business International made a song about them.
The archives of history (1981) show that The Right Honourable Lord Tebbit inferred that the unemployed should get on one.
And now you can get on yours to help a worthy cause...
Yes, it's back. For the third year in a row. Kilham Playing Field Association are proud to announce that the 3rd annual bike ride returns on Sunday 18 September 2011.
With a choice of distances to challenge you & your friends, ranging from 3 miles up to a daunting (for some) 30 miles, there is something for everyone. All you need is a bike (obviously), a helmet & a willingness to spend some of your Sunday to help raise funds for Kilham Playing Field.
No need to collect any sponsorship, is just a fixed entry free which includes a burger back at The Star pub in Kilham. Is also a great raffle being held once the 3 mile route has finished (around 3:30pm).
More details on the posters below & it would be great if you could join us for this truly fantastic event. Contact us via our website or our Facebook page if you have any questions.
